Return & Refund Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, you may return eligible items within 30 days of delivery under the terms below.

1. Return Eligibility

Items must be returned in the same condition as received — complete with all labels, accessories, and original packaging.

2. How to Start a Return (RMA Required)

To begin a return, please contact us at support@recertifiedhdd.nl and include:

  • Your order number and order date

  • The product serial number

  • Clear photos, if applicable

We will issue a Return Material Authorization (RMA) with the return address and detailed instructions.

Important: Returns sent without an RMA number cannot be accepted.

3. Return Shipping (Who Pays)

  • Defective / DOA / Wrong item received: We will provide a prepaid return label or reimburse the cost of standard tracked postage after approval.

  • Change-of-mind / Non-defective items: Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.

All returns must be securely packed in a sturdy box with proper cushioning.

We cannot accept items returned in padded envelopes, foam peanuts, or shredded paper.

4. Packaging & Condition

  • Do not remove or cover the original serial/barcode label.

  • Remove any extra stickers that obstruct the barcode.

  • Items showing physical damage are not eligible for return or refund.

5. Data & Privacy

Please back up and erase any data before returning a storage device. We are not responsible for data loss or exposure of personal information.

6. Inspection & Refunds

All returned items are inspected and tested upon receipt.

  • Approved returns are refunded to the original payment method within 3–7 business days.

  • Products showing misuse, missing parts, or damage may incur a reasonable restocking fee or be declined.

Refunds are always issued to the original payment method; store credit is not offered.

7. Exclusions

The following are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Custom-configured items

  • Physically damaged products

  • Items returned without an RMA

8. EU Right of Withdrawal (14 Days)

If your order ships to the European Union, you have a statutory 14-day right to withdraw from the purchase without giving a reason.
This right runs from the delivery date and applies to items returned in original condition with all accessories. Refund timing and inspection terms above apply.
Return shipping is handled according to the “Who Pays” section unless otherwise required by law.
